I was having so much fun getting ready for Easter that I completely forgot to post this!
So here it is, now just inspiration for next year, but better late then never if you ask me. Easter is one of my favorite times of year with Spring emerging, floral dresses, the soft pastel pallet, on of the most fragrant flowers– the Easter Lily — maker her debut! And the true heart of it all for me, is the remembrance the my Savior lives and therefore, so does my hope.
With a little bunny on your plate, how can anyone say no to eating their broccoli? Also, another hope of mine!
I know some people might think its ridiculous to decorate for every little event in life, but I can’t help but feel the complete opposite. Every little event should be celebrated, we need to come together, live in community with those we love, mark an accomplishment with a special meal together. For me it’s a way to care and show love for my family, to create a special-ness for them. I noticed that it helps me transition from the big holidays, I usually feel pretty let down after Christmas! But making it a point to decorate for the new coming year gives me a small, but some how meaningful target to aim for and it’s FUN! I love the end result and as you may know, I had typically just change my dining room decor– it’s small and manageable. I only do the entire house for Christmas…and that takes me a few days to set up and about 2 weeks to break back down! Ha ha ha!
I hope you enjoy making your home a special little celebratory haven, it’s quite fun, inspiring and always makes me happy as I catch a glimpse of my current decor…on my want to do the never ending laundry. Ha ha ha!
Make it fancy, it’s your life after all!
Huge hugs,
Tiffany
