If you are anything like me, it seems like it will be beeline to our destiny in this life–meaning a straight shot, from point A to point B, and VIOLA! You should arrive safely and quickly at your dream life. Ha! It’s more like 17 switchbacks, a few puddle jumps, Everest, and 3 high dives to get just to the other side for the first mile! When we face challenges that seem impossible, we tend to let it deflate us, and rightly so. But just because we feel that way about some obstacle we are facing, doesn’t mean it’s true. I believe that every person has the ability to overcome anything.  But we need HOPE.  Without it, we can’t even go on another half step.

Now image there is a blueprint; a beautiful and wonderful plan for your exact life.  You are not willy-nilly, bing-bonging through life. How good does that feel? Such relief right? It’s true, the good plan exists, let this knowledge renew your strength, cause joy to stream in, and allow your hope to soar. It’s as if this knowledge comes with a battery pack. Plug it in and go! So with renewed vigor, you can set forth on your journey.

Life is never a straight shot, but it’s in those challenges and obstacles that we gain new muscles for climbing, new wisdom for navigating. So let life take it’s zig-zags, round-a-bouts, and free falls…sum it up to a good adventure, that’s worth living and feeling through.

Your challenge is to lean into life and go, go for it all, don’t hold back or slump over in the corner, you’ve got the green light if you are breathing right now. Hit the gas and forget breaks, it’s your road. (This is only in metaphor, please drive responsibly while operating a motor vehicle.) LOL! But in the end,  you’ll arrive exactly where you are supposed to be, your home–where it all has workout and come together in ways you never could have planned or expected. It’s exciting to think of your life in this way, and if it does make you excited then it’s true for you.
