It’s the most wonderful time of the year, again! This year I’ve stayed with the traditional red and green, but with all sorts of plaids and flannels. It has made quite a cozy home as it feels as if your eyeballs are wrapped snug-as-a-bug in a big blanket everywhere you look! Ha ha ha! And isn’t that what always sounds best?!
The dining room is trimmed with napkins, runner, reindeer, mercury vase with flowers–all from Pottery Barn. The lighted garlands and table center piece is from Home Goods, with some additional pine and holly berries from Michael’s Craft Store. I find that you can supplement all greenery with sprigs, pine cones, holly berries, frosted branches…whatever you find that brings you joy while you are shopping–it will bring you joy at home too!
Next is the formal living room, where I fell in love with the big bay window of this house–which is perfect to display a Christmas tree and it’s also Bogey’s favorite napping spot with a view. No design has to be perfect, but I think it has to feel inviting and cozy, like you want to stay and read a good book for awhile. That’s my idea of good design, if the cat likes it, you’re good! Happy decorating and celebrating this Christmas season!
Absolutely stunning! Merry Christmas to you and your precious family 🎄 God bless you 😘💖🙏🏻
